Please be advised that earlier today the Supreme Court of Virginia entered an order that declared a judicial emergency in response to the COVID19 emergency.
Pursuant to this emergency order, effective today, all non-essential, non-emergency court proceedings are in all of Virginia’s circuit and district Virginia courts are suspended with certain very narrow exceptions. This Order will remain in effect from today to April 6, 2020. This Order can be extended by the Supreme Court for additional periods.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause you but please recognize that this step was taken to protect the health and safety of the citizens of our Commonwealth.
