Since joining The Myerson Law Group team in 2012, I’ve represented clients in all of our practice areas, but have focused primarily on domestic relations and criminal defense. I’ve handled complicated relocation cases, contested custody issues, spousal support modifications, and complex equitable distribution and divorce cases. In addition, I’ve defended clients with traffic violations, including driving under the influence charges, and more serious criminal offenses, including domestic violence, larceny, firearms violations, possession and distribution of illegal drugs, and burglary. I have appeared in courts in the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Alexandria and Arlington, and Fairfax City and the Town of Vienna.
I love working with my clients and helping them navigate difficult situations to reach resolutions that are best for them and their families. Like the rest of the firm, I am cognizant that a protracted legal battle often is not in the best interest of my clients or their families and endeavor to avoid that, but I am always willing to litigate when the situation warrants it.
I graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 2011. I am admitted to the Virginia Bar, The Supreme Court of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the District of Columbia Bar.
In addition to my legal training, my prior professional and life experience give me additional resources for practical advice for clients. For example, I worked for five years in the Human Resources and Payroll department at George Mason University prior to law school. I am a parent and have lived in Northern Virginia for 15 years.
